Registration

PRE-SCHOOL:

• Morning session: 8:45 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
• Afternoon session:  12:45 - 3:30
• Full-time: Monday - Friday
• Half-time: Monday, Wednesday, and alternate Fridays or Tuesday, Thursday and alternate Friday

EXTENDED DAY CHILDCARE:             7:30-5:00, Monday - Friday

• Extended Day - Full-time: Childcare includes Montessori 'All Day', lunch, and two snacks daily
• Extended Day - Half-time: Monday, Wednesday and alternate Friday or Tuesday, Thursday, and alternate Friday;  follows the same routine as Full time, above.

If you are new to the Montessori Center:

• The first step is to schedule a visit with the director.  This first visit is usually scheduled without the child.   Upon enrollment, a parent/child visit is scheduled with the teacher to get aquainted, review school policies and collect additional information required for the child's file.
• There is a non-refundable registration fee of $25 for those families who are registering a child for the first time. If you are a returning Montessori family, this fee is waived.
• The registration fee, along with a deposit of $50, will reserve a place for your child. Registration is taken on a first-come, first-served basis. 
• The $ 50 deposit is advanced toward the tuition for May and is totally refunded upon early withdrawal, prior to April 1, given two weeks' notice.
• Withdrawals after April 1 cannot be refunded as it is too late in the year to bring in a new child to fill the vacancy. The only two exceptions to this policy are: termination of employment or a move from the area (with two weeks of notice).

Tuition and Rates
Tuition is due during the first school week of every month for the current month, and is paid in 9 equal installments, September through May.

A self-addressed payment envelope will be sent home with your child at the end of every month.

There is no refund for occasional days absent due to illness, personal vacation schedules or scheduled school closings. See our calendar.

The pre-school generally follows the public school calendar. You will receive a Montessori calendar of scheduled school closings at the beginning of the school year.
